Heavenly Heels, Lovely Louboutins

I cannot deny my penchant for shoes, which is why I am determined to find the perfect pair for my wedding day. Christian Louboutins are hands down my personal favorite. Some include:

"Evita"

"Very Noeud"

"Alta Perla"

Wedding shoes do not have to be white or champagne. Sassy shoes in blue, pink, green, even red, look great!

The above is one of the few Manolos that I like. I prefere these to the "something blue" worn by Carrie Bradshaw in the "Sex in the City" movie.

And, of course, I love the Louboutins in my previous post.

Pageantry Abides

I thought choosing the dress for my wedding would be one of the easier decisions I have to make. Something powerful takes hold once that ring is on your finger, though. Repressed personality traits began to speak up... six months ago, I would have told someone they were crazy if they suggested I wear a ballgown or anything with a bustle for that matter. The Melissa Sweet "Hallie" dress below is what I envisioned myself in.

I even chose the perfect Christian Louboutin ("Champus") heels to go with it.

Today, though, today I am thinking about double french bustles and ten foot cathedral trains with yards and yards of poofy duchess silk. This dress from Amsale ("Keira") has me all mixed up.

The dress has dropped crystals around the bodice and crystal buttons down the back and train of the dress.

To make matters worse, I even found a pair of Christian Louboutin's (Drapinight d'Orsay) that go perfectly with it.

The looks are complete opposites. Which part of me is going to win this battle? It's anyone's guess at this point. Perhaps trying on both styles will put me on the right path.
